In line with recent changes to NSW Health’s face mask requirements in hospitals (Aug 2023), we will be changing our face mask policy effective immediately.

Out of respect to those people who have treatment at our clinic who suffer from chronic health conditions, or are at higher risk if infected, who are concerned by this change, there will be a couple of caveats.

Here is our updated policy.

It is no longer mandatory to wear a face mask in the Cammeray Massage Clinic.

However, if you have any respiratory symptoms (e.g. hayfever, mild sniffles, etc) you should wear a face mask, as will we therapists.

You are welcome to wear a face mask if you wish and you can request your therapist wear one too.

Some of our therapists may continue to wear masks for the foreseeable future anyhow.

If you have a flu or covid, or a fever, please defer your appointment.

It’s pretty straight forward. Even though we have quite large treatment rooms, we are still very close to one another during a treatment for an hour or more, often face to face, so caution is probably still wise at this stage.

The public health policy throughout the pandemic was geared to stop the spread of the virus to protect the most vulnerable. I think our new policy still does that whilst allowing others less at risk to return to some normality.

Thank you,
